Martha Starr's Obituary
Martha H Starr (95), loving mother and grandmother, passed away, Sunday, March 22, 2020, in her home surrounded by family.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, William H “Buddy” Starr, her parents Elmer Hawks and Noley Roberts Hawks, her sister Juanita McAlpin, her son Gerald “Gerry”
Batten and her stepson Danny Starr.
Martha is survived by her son Henry Roderick “Rod” Batten (Dallas) and Pamela Sue Ayers (Donald), stepchildren Dennis Starr (Debbie), Judy Starr, Tammy Conway (Jeff), Todd Starr (Brenda), six grand children Donna Stephenson (Mike), Michael Ayers (Karen), Henry Batten (Shelli), Jennifer Hegameyer, Erin Stevens (Daniel), and Nathan Batten, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Martha was an active member of Colonial Park Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing Bridge, Bunko, Ladies coffee, gardening and beach trips.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by all.
