Martha Loretta Pantella's Obituary
Martha Loretta Garland Pantella, 80, passed away December 26, 2014. She was born December 21, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee. She retired from General Electric in New Jersey where she worked for 35 years, and after retiring she returned to Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Eustace Garland and Myrtle Garland. She is survived by her two sisters Ruth Patrick, of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Vivian Kinton, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, nieces Elaine Shipley and Melissa White of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jennifer Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, nephews Frank (Mike) Patrick of Ringgold, Georgia, Mark Kinton of Hollywood, South Carolina, Greg Kinton of Vienna, Virginia, and Colin Kinton of Buford, South Carolina. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 11 at 9:30 a.m. with a graveside service following for family and friends at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
