Martha P. Massey's Obituary
Martha Lou Perry Massey, age 87 passed away on December 26, 2018 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, William and her children, Billy and Peggy. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Glover, daughter, Sarah Cloud, son, Wesley Massey, granddaughter, Ivie Massey and step-grandson, Chris (Amanda) Cloud, as well as a host of family and friends who loved her well. She was a charter member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and served as the church secretary for many years. She later joined Germantown United Methodist Church where she was very active, serving in several volunteer capacities. She loved playing bridge and participated in several different groups including one with the same ladies playing together for over 50 years. Above all, she loved being a Grammy to Ivie, who was the earth and stars for her. She was a woman of strong faith and showed it daily in the manner in which she lived. She will live on through those who knew and loved her. The visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Memorial Park Funeral Home until the service time at 12:30 p.m.
