My childhood memories of Aunt Ann primarily focused on her as the mother of cousins who showed us so many good times when we visited them on summer vacations. When I got older Aunt Ann was a source of Christmas magic with the special gifts she sent at Christmas. A 1,000-piece real wood jigsaw puzzle occupied us until Valentine’s day. It wasn’t until I got to know her as an adult that I came to recognize and appreciate her profound, sincere love of God. This was the light of her life and it’s warmth was reflected in her love of her family.
