Martha B. Ishee's Obituary
Martha B. Ishee, 63, of Germantown, TN passed away July 18, 2009, following a brief illness and a life well lived.Martha was a proud member of Germantown Baptist Church where she cheefully served in the Wedding and Preschool Ministries. She was also a lifelong Memphian and ever-hopeful Tiger fan. Martha graduated from White Station High School in 1963 and Memphis State University in 1967. She retired as a supervisor from Delta Air Lines after thirty-four years of service and enjoyed her second career as the office manager of the law firm of Domico Kyle, PLLC.Martha was the daughter of James T. Bland, Sr. and the late Martha D. Bland of Collierville, TN. She leaves behind her beloved husband of thirty-four years, Aubon Ishee. She is also survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Cash (Justin) of Memphis, TN, and Susan Green (Mark) of Collierville, TN, as well as five cherished grandchildren: Emily, Jack, A.J., Jacob and Blake. Other survivors include her brother, James T. Bland, Jr. (Pattie) of St. Croix, USVI; her aunt, Ann Owens (Bobby) of Collierville, TN; several cousins including Bob Owens and Jeri Bechard of Collierville, TN and Audrey Roberts of Port Townsend, WA; two step-granddaughter, Taylor and Hannah Green of Collierville, TN; special friends Carolyn Bazemore and Tori Rowe of Memphis, TN; and a host of other family members and friends whom she loved dearly.A visitation from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service in celebration of her life on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Germantown Baptist Church, Memorials may be sent to the Preschool Ministry of Germantown Baptist Church
