Martha Fay Dozier's Obituary
Martha Shackelford Dozier, wife of John T. Dozier, passed away November 25, 2014. She leaves her husband; her son, Mark, of Richmond, VA; her twin sister, Mickie “Mildred” Moore, of Olive Branch, MS; her brother, Ken Shackelford, of Memphis; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Memphis for over 60 years. She was an active choir member and was responsible for creating a cross of flowers at Easter time at the church each year. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marcia Frame, of Pensacola, FL. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church on Sunday, November 30, visitation from 1:00-2:00 with service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Memphis. On December 1, Martha and John would have been married 68 years. Martha was a sweet, loving, Christian lady.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
