Marlon West Walls' Obituary
Marlon West Walls passed away November 19, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital.He was a graduate of Wynne High School where he was captain of the basketball and football teams and graduated from the University Of Illinois. He served as an Air Force Special Agent Officer of Investigation (OSI), USAF Inspector General’s Office and the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Marlon retired in 1972 after 24 years of service, fourteen of those were mainly in France, England and Germany. During the Cold War, he investigated Finance Operations, Air Force contract irregularities and counter intelligence matters. After returning to Memphis in 1973 he accepted the position of Executive Vice President and comptroller of Caroma, Inc. His local businesses included The Stacked Deck, Inc., Walls Janitorial, and Walls Construction and Building Management, Company.He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara J. Walls and survived by his two sons, Barry, wife Brenda Walls, of Collierville, David and wife Mikki Walls of Memphis; two grandsons, Dustin and Jared Walls of Collierville and two sisters, Geneva Manley and Rita Young of Wynne, AR.
