Marlene Kraker's Obituary
Marlene Farha Kraker, 77, of Germantown, Tennessee passed away at her home Tuesday, June 29, 2010 with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Kraker; her parents, Marguerite and Bahij Farha; her brother Fredrick Farha; and her sister Emily Day. She is survived by her sons, Sam (Dana) Kraker and Wes (Becky) Kraker; daughters, Kim (Jeff) Boone and Terry (Bill) Harter; as well as her nine grandchildren, Adam, Brian, Sid, Elaine, J. Morgan, Christopher, Hannah, Marie, and Wesley. She is also survived by her brother, John (Nancy) Farha and sister Brenda (George) Farha both of Wichita, KS. She was born in Wichita, KS, and graduated from Stevens College in MO. After marriage she lived in Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, and spent many wonderful years in Minneapolis before moving to Germantown. She leaves behind many wonderful friends whom she loved dearly and will always be remembered as a true NBA fan. The visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Trisagion Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 2 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
