Marlene L. Evans' Obituary
Marlene L. Evans of Collierville, TN passed away on November 12, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was 88.
Marlene was a native Memphian and spent her entire career locally with Kimberly Clark. She retired after 37 years as the Regional Customer Service Manager.
She was a long time member of Colonial Country Club. She enjoyed playing bridge as well as golf. She was a member of the 18 Hole Ladies Golf Group and the Interclub Group.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Evans; and stepson, James Evans. She is survived by a stepson, Mike Evans; two cousins, Debbie Trusty of Vicksburg, MS and Barbara Griffin of Knoxville, TN.
Visitation will be held on November 22 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
