Markus "Mark" Benjamin Baker's Obituary
Markus “Mark” Benjamin Baker, 29 passed away February 6, 2016 in California. Mark loved the outdoors. He enjoyed meeting people and almost never met a stranger. He loved to bike the mountains, traveling all over the country, meeting people and making friends. He loved camping and roughing it to prove to himself he could do it, his favorite being Mt. Shasta. He excelled in hockey and played on the Germantown High School team. He enjoyed traveling to new places and experiencing what the country had to offer. He loved his family and cherished his friends at home but was always compelled to experience new places and things. He was fun loving, happy go lucky and had an infectious smile that lit up his whole face. Mark had an unusual sense of humor that always made you laugh. He truly was a beautiful soul, very spiritual and had a unique relationship with God. Mark leaves behind his mother, Sandra Baker; father, John David Baker; sister, Carrie Beaugrand; brother, Daniel Baker (Lesley); grandfather, Walter Baker; grandmother, Margaret Bledsoe; Aunts, Julie Coletta (Joe), Stacy Raines (Walter); uncles, A.W. Jones, Jr. (Kathy), Frank Baker (Denise); cousins, Brandon and Danielle Baker, Pete and Jeff Coletta, Kristi Ostrom, David Brown, Jeremy Brown, Deborah Jones, and Sarah Jones. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18 from 5 pm to 7 pm, a funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, February 19 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
