Mark Gelske's Obituary
Mark Gelske, 70, of Lexington Tennessee, passed away peacefully with family at his side, May 12th, 2017 at Memphis Methodist University Hospital. He was born and raised in Ohio, the son of the late Leo and Virginia Gelske. His brother Gerry, proceeded him in death. Mark graduated from Lakota High School and was employed by the Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, Ohio until 1977 when he moved his family to Loxahatchee, Florida. After 30 years of employment as the Superintendent of the printing department with the city of West Palm Beach, Florida, Mark retired to Lexington, Tennessee to full fill his retirement adventures of traveling with his family, enjoyment of motorcycles, R.C. flying , hobby farming, and the great outdoors. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Jacqueline ( Creeger) Gelske a son, Chadwick, daughter, Monica Wiles, son-in-law, Steven and granddaughter, Ariel Wiles who he loved dearly, sister-in-law Judy Slater, nieces and nephews . A private Celebration of Life Service will be held for Mark, Dad, Pa, on the family farm.
