Marjorie Hall's Obituary
Marjorie Lois Hall, 95, passed away on April 30, 2015 in Memphis, TN. She was born on February 26, 1920 in New Albany, MS. She was a lifelong Memphian and member for over sixty years of the First Baptist Church of Memphis. She taught elementary school for over 40 years, retiring from teaching after a lengthy tenure at Presbyterian Day School. She was married to Norm Hall; they raised two children, Karen Thomas and Kevin Hall. She is survived by her son, Kevin Hall of Shawnee, OK; son-in-law, Rick Thomas of Memphis; daughter-in-law, Diana Hall of Shawnee, OK; four grandchildren, Brian Hall, Bonnie Hall, Bethany Hall, and Shelby Thomas. Visitation will be 4:30-6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2 and graveside services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, May 3 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests a gift in her memory to First Baptist Church of Memphis. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
