Marjorie Crawford's Obituary
Marjorie Catherine Lovelace Crawford, 87, of Memphis passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Ave Maria in Bartlett, TN. She was born on August 17, 1922 to Henry and Ethel (Woodard) Lovelace of Steele, MO. She was united in marriage to Marshall “Tip” Crawford in 1946 and had been married for 58 years at the time of his death. An avid and skilled golfer, her accomplishments included two holes in one. Ms. Crawford worked for Farrell Construction until she retired in 1993. She was a member of the Goodman Oaks Church of Christ.Ms Crawford was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Jerry D. Lovelace. She leaves two brothers William L. “Bill” Lovelace of Piggott, AR and Henry N. (Sonny) Lovelace of Clarksville, VZ several nieces and nephews and many close friends.Visitation will be at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ from 10:30 to 11:30 Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family requests that memorials be sent to Goodman Oaks Church of Christ.
