Marjorie always greeted you with her big smile, twinkling eyes and her bright spirit. She and Patty sat at my mother's bedside everyday for two and a half weeks before she passed away. They prayed for her and with her and were constant in their love and loyalty to her. Growing up our families shared a cabin at Horseshoe Lake and many fond memories of sharing time and wonderful food with her family. She loved the Lord and was a true witness her entire life. Heaven is rejoicing to receive this angel.

Margie was a saint of a woman. I attended many of her Christian book club meetings in her home and a church conference for women with her. I loved her sense of humor, love of God and people, her willingness to be vulnerable and honest about her life including motherhood and marriage. Her eyes were always bright with joy and love. It was an encouragement just to see her in the halls at First Evan. It always brightened my day when I had chances to talk with her. She was definitely a “ hero” to me. I only regret I did not have enough time with her personally. She will be missed and I look forward to spending more time with her in eternity.
