Marion Richard Sills' Obituary
Marion Richard Sills, 69, of Memphis died at his home from complications of a stroke on February 24, 2011. Richard was born in Memphis in 1941 to Hazel and M. B. Sills. He was an All-American football player from White Station High School, a founding member of the Second Generation Italian Society of Memphis, and a member of both the National and Tennessee Hair Fashion Committee. Survived by his wife, Judy Sills, a sister Lynn Vasa of Michigan, a son Richard Wayne Sills and a daughter Kimberly Pecha (married to Kevin Pecha), both of Memphis, four grandchildren: Tyler Wayne Sills, Rachel Elizabeth Sills, and Levi Thomas Sills of Franklin, TN and Emma Grace Pecha of Cordova, TN. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, February 27 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 28 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
