Marilyn McIlwain's Obituary
Marilyn Margaret McIlwain, 71, passed away at Baptist Trinity Hospice, Collierville, TN, August 23, 2012, after a lengthy illness. She was born September 22, 1940, in Parkin, AR. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Edward McIlwain, her father, Woodrow Wilson Westmoreland; her mother, Mattie Lou Westmoreland; and two brothers, Gene and Aubrey Sitz. She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda J. Ellsworth (Jim), Arlington, TN, and Tina M. McConnico (Neal), Collierville, TN; a brother, Giles Sitz; and a sister, Mary Ann Fisher, both of West Memphis, AR; five grandchildren, Garrett and Harris Ellsworth, both of Arlington, TN, and Madison, Emily, and Garner Gowen, all of Collierville, TN; as well as three step-grandchildren, Lauren, Sarah, and Will McConnico. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Baptist Hospice House, 1520 W. Poplar Ave, Collierville and graveside services to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
