Marilyn Brugge's Obituary
Marilyn Toy Brugge, 80, loving wife of Warren M Brugge who preceded her in death, loving mother and grandmother and lifelong Lutheran was called home to heaven on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 after a short illness. The family will receive friends at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5296 Park Ave, Memphis, TN on Friday, March 4 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to be held Saturday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King. Interment will follow at Memorial Park. Marilyn, an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, enjoyed her involvement with the Altar Guild, the Handbell Choir, and the LWML. She was also a Stephen Minister and participated in visiting nursing homes with the Singing Saints of Messiah Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughters, Michella Novy (Jim) and Laura Smith (Tommy), grandchildren, Jeanette and Mark Novy, Courtney and Lindsey Smith, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Christ the King Lutheran Church. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” John 10:27-28
