SisterRie was all of those things. I loved bumping into her from time to time and sharing all kinds of Johnson family memories. Such a strong, wonderful lady-I was fortunate to have known her.Kathy KingKathy

Her five older brothers called her Sister, to us she will always be our beloved SisterRie.She will always be the “Aunt that we could talk to.” She had that “Johnson honesty” and called things as they were, yet she always brought out the positive. A conversation with SisterRie left you with a contented heart and a sense of well-being.She will always be our “Aunt to have fun with.” When we were young, she would open her home to our sleepovers. We have wonderful memories made with Trip, Nancy and Jennie. She will always be our “amazingly strong Aunt.” With all that she had to endure, she cherished her life. She never lost her faith and her belief in the love of God and all that is good.Growing up in Whitehaven gave us the gift of Sunday dinners with Mama Maude, SisterRie, Trip, Nancy, and Jennie. You get to know each other quite well. As the Vernon Johnson family has grown and dispersed throughout the world, the closeness of those Sunday dinners has remained woven into our hearts and souls, and continues to guide us.SisterRie contributed greatly to our lives, and we will always have her in our hearts. With Oceans of Love, Rebecca Johnson Levitt

Sis always held a special place in my heart. I was named after her. My father, her brother, loved her so much. She will be missed by all of her family!!!!! Love Jeanne
