Marie Holloway-Schmidt's Obituary
Marie Holloway-Schmidt died on August 12,2010 at the Belmont Village. Marie was a life long Baptist and a Watch Care Member of First Baptist Church. Originally from Junction City, AR. Marie moved to Memphis in the late 1940s to work as an office administrator for Dr. Clyde Croswell, her uncle. She was a realtor and co-owned Standard Disinfectant Company. She was President of the Quota Club. She is survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 sisters and L. V. Schmidt her husband of 54 years. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday August 27 at Memorial Park with visitation following the service. The family is grateful for the loving care of her attendants Jeanette Johnson, Cherise Motley and staff and for Crossroads Hospice support. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Television Ministry.
