Marian Baird Parrish Seidl's Obituary
Marian Baird Parrish Seidl, 92, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2018, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born in Alexandria Virginia on April 6, 1926, to Forrest Denwood Parrish and Alice Laurina Flynn Parrish. She grew up in Alexandria with her three brothers and two sisters.Marian was married to Kenneth Gordon Seidl, and lived in Wauwatosa Wisconsin for several years, raising their three sons.In 1972 the family moved to Memphis Tennessee, where she was a member of St Elisabeth’s Episcopal Church for 34 years, and worked for Senior Citizen’s Services. In 2006 Marian moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado with her oldest son Ronald Seidl.Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gordon Seidl, and her siblings Matthew Denwood Parrish, John Poindexter Parrish, James Sherwood Parrish, Elizabeth Lee Parrish Swartz, and Nancy L. Parrish Posey.Marian is survived by her three sons, Ronald Wayne Seidl (Laura) of Peyton, CO, Kenneth Joseph Seidl (Lee) of Olive Branch, MS, Steven Lee Seidl (Linda) of Canton, GA; five grandchildren Ben Seidl, Hannah Seidl Schiller, Jonny Seidl, Jeneva Seidl, Derek Wagner; four great-grandchildren; as well as her sister-in-law Marilyn Parrish (Matthew Denwood).A graveside memorial and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Memphis, Tennessee.
