Margaret A. Knudson
Margaret A. Knudson, 90, passed away April 24, 2026 at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN.
She was born June 20, 1935 in Merrill, WI, the daughter of Henry and Rosalie (Monahan) Julian.
On June 25, 1955, she married Thomas J. Knudson in Merrill, WI. They were married 61 years and enjoyed traveling and entertaining with their friends. They were founding and active members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Memphis, TN.
Margaret volunteered with Duration Fine Arts, Friends of the Pink Palace and the Board for the Memphis MidSouth Fair. She loved being with her 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Her many hobbies included playing bridge, knitting, sewing which lead to a busy life full of joy.
Margaret is survived by her three children, Robert (Briar) Knudson of Mundelein, IL, Marcia (Jim) McIntyre of Plano, TX and Julie Knudson of Memphis, TN, her grandchildren Laura Conner, Jim(Kelley) McIntyre Jr., Katie Knudson, Kristin(Brian) Jackson, Rebecca(Matt) Dulen, and Brie Knudson along with seven great grandchildren, Reagan, Reed, Walker, and Ivy Dulen, Payton McIntyre, Brantley and Adair Jackson.
Visitation services will be Friday, May 1st at 10:00 at the Church of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2300 Hickory Crest Drive, Memphis, TN., followed by funeral services starting at 11:00 and lunch provided afterwards at the church.
In lieu of flowers, gifts to the memory of Mrs. Knudson may be offered to St. Jude Hospital or the Church of the Holy Spirit.
