Margaret Ellen Kjellin Jensen's Obituary
Margaret (Peggy) Kjellin Jensen age 84, of Germantown, TN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 13, 2025.
Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband of 20 years, Leo D. Kjellin, her second husband of 20 years, Richard D. Jensen, and her two brothers, William Sellhorn and Thomas Sellhorn.
She is survived by her three loving sons, Andrew B. Kjellin (Margie), Edward M. Kjellin (Connie), and William J. Kjellin (Keri); seven grandchildren, Kallen, David, Chloe, Madison, Avery, Bryce, and Caitlin; and one great-grandson, Grayson. Margaret is also survived by her sister, Betty Lane (Jim), and three step-children, David Jensen, Lori O’Shea, and Beth Smith.
A dedicated teacher and manager at the Memphis Auto Auction, Margaret’s career was marked by a deep commitment to service and community. She was an active member of The Church of the Holy Spirit, where she regularly attended Adoration, served as a door greeter, and reached out to the homebound with compassion. She was also an enthusiastic participant in the Holy Spirit Fun Group, where she cherished the friendships, fellowship, and entertainment it provided.
Margaret had a love for travel, and her adventures with her husband Richard took her to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations, with New Zealand, Ireland, and St. Petersburg holding special places in her heart. She also enjoyed shopping and cherished family gatherings, where her warm spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around her.
Margaret’s legacy will live on through her family, friends, and the many lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2025, at The Church of the Holy Spirit, with a visitation at 10:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Church of the Holy Spirit or a charity of your choice in Margaret’s memory.
