Margaret F. Flick's Obituary
Margaret F. Flick, age 99, passed away on November 23, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 75 years, Leroy Flick, her son-in-law, Paul Japs, two grandchildren, Kevin and Christopher Japs, her sister, Mary Troklas and her brothers, Bud and John Lehmann.She is survived by her children, Patricia Japs, Daniel Flick and Mary Ann Bell (David), her grandchildren, Lee Japs (Stephanie), Gregory and Lisa Japs, Chris Bell (Acker), Drs. Megan Bouchareb (Marouane) and Danny Bell (Debra), her great-grandchildren, Kailey and Isabella Japs, Penick and Sullivan Bell, Luca and Annika Bouchareb and Rufus and Mettler Bell and multiple nieces and nephews.Margaret was a member of the Alter Society at Holy Rosary Church and also a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital. She had many hobbies, including Memphis Tigers basketball and football, where she was a member of University of Memphis Travlin’ Tiger Fans. She loved flowers and anything that grew outside as well as being a talented seamstress (both knitting and crocheting), a Duplicate Bridge player and an Artist. Margaret painted in oil, acrylic and in water colors. She loved her Catholic faith, and one thing she did was make hundreds of Rosaries.
