Margaret Fitts' Obituary
Margaret Louise Fitts, 85, passed away August 18, 2010. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 19 and funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 20 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery. Born in 1924, Margaret graduated from Olive Branch High School. She retired from Baptist Hospital in 1985 and was a long time member of Berclair Baptist Church and present member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and share what she made with others. Many newborn babies have been warmed by her handmade blankets. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Daniel of Oakland, TN and Sharon Harris of Memphis, TN; granddaughters, Sarah Stanley of Memphis, TN and Jennifer O’Donnell of Jackson, MS; brothers, Bill Moncrief, MS and Thomas Moncrief, TN; and sister, Peggy Poteete of TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mary Galloway Home, 3437 Waynoka, Memphis, TN 38111.
