Margaret Endicott Fry's Obituary
Margaret Endicott Fry, 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 6, 2010. Margaret was born on October 4, 1916 in Washington State to the late Florence and Walter Taylor Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Nelson B. Endicott, her second husband, George Fry, and six sisters, Dosha, Kelsie, Maudie, Mary, Pauline and May, as well as her beloved granddaughter, Catherine Endicott Swearingen. Margaret is survived by her brother, Charles E. Hill (Emily) of Longview, Texas, her sons, William N. Endicott (Barbara) and Walter L. Endicott (Barbara), all of Memphis as well as five grandchildren, Alan Endicott (Gerri) Sheri Phipps (Jeff), Aneatha Hill (David), Walt Endicott (Tara), Debbie Phillips (Kevin) and 17 great-grandchildren. Margaret was an active member of the Kings Daughters and worked many hours at the old Kings Daughters and Sons Home. She was also a member of the Bookmarkers Club. Margaret participated in many activities for her two sons and was active in the PTA at East High School and served as den mother in the Cub Scouts. Visitation will begin Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 2:30 at Memorial Park.
