Margaret Teresa Correro Colucci's Obituary
Margaret Teresa Correro Colucci, 94, of Bartlett TN, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on November 7, 2021 in Murfreesboro TN, surrounded by her loving family.
Margaret was born on April 13, 1927 in Indianola MS to Antoinette Geraci Correro and Brossie Frank Correro. She graduated from Indianola High School in 1944 and entered into the banking industry immediately after graduation. She married John D. Colucci on November 18, 1951. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1991.
Margaret is survived by her son John Colucci (Susan) of Rio Verde AZ, daughters Margaret Colucci of Smyrna TN and Rose Marie Colucci Burke (James L.) of Rossville TN, granddaughter Christina Burke of Nashville TN, sister Dorothy Gervasi of Eads TN and brother Brossie Correro (Linda) of Atlanta GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Grace Galtelli and Marie Bellipanni and brothers Sammie Joe Correro and Anthony Correro. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Park on Sunday, November 14 from 2:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 15 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bartlett. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Colucci, Blaise Correro, Sal Galtelli, Gerard Gervasi, James L Burke III and Howard Jackson.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or St. Ann Catholic Church, Bartlett TN.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to The Rutherford Memory Care in Murfreesboro TN for their excellent care and compassion during mother’s stay. Their love and support for her went beyond our hopes. May God bless them all.
