Margaret Ferguson Bourland's Obituary
Margaret Ferguson Bourland, 68, died October 2, 2010 following a lengthy illness. She was a loving and devoted friend, mother and grandmother and was a life long Memphian. She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church. She graduated from Central High School in 1960 and worked in the medical office of Dr. R. Leon Bourland, Sr. as a medical assistant. She continued working in the medical field for many years in the Memphis area. Mrs. Bourland was a caretaker at heart. She selflessly cared for numerous family members through out her life including her aging parents, who preceded her in death, and her children and grandchildren. Her greatest love of all was her family. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Bourland is survived by her loving children and grandchildren. Her daughter, Beverly Bourland Wade and husband Randy, her sons, David Leon Bourland and his wife Sarah, Richard Edward Bourland and his wife, Rolana, and five grandchildren, Brennan, Elleson, and Parker Wade and Ramey and Hugh Bourland. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
