Margaret Virginia Addy's Obituary
Margaret Virginia Addy passed away on July 12, 2011. She was born in Ardmore, OK in 1921 and married L.O. Addy, her greatest love, March, 1941, while they were students at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. They were active Methodist and cherished the many wonderful friends they made in their extensive travels. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, L.O. (2001), her son, David Christian Addy (2010), daughter, Laurel Addy Davis (2010), and grandson Jason Andrew Davis (2010). She is survived by daughter Catherine Addy Bernstein (Howard), son-in-law Sam L. Davis, granddaughter Heather Barlow (Oscar), grandson Jeremy Foulks (Ashley); and three great-grandchildren, Gracie Barlow and Mackenzie and Grayson Foulks. The family request in lieu of flowers please send a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at Belmont Assisted Living for the loving care and attention they provided to Virginia and her family. We would also like to thank Methodist Hospital Hospice for the constant care and support to Virginia and her family. Services will be held in the Chapel at Christ United Methodist Church (Poplar Avenue) Friday July 15th at 11AM. No suits no black.
