Lynn and I became best friends in the ninth grade at Humes High and I have always considered her as my lifetime best friend even though we have not seen each other much in the past few years. I was out of the country when she left this world and didn’t return in time for her visitation and service. I dearly loved Lynn – she and I shared so very many memories – she went with my family on trips to Florida and California. She was my maid of honor in 1962. She had a loving heart and displayed this in her work at Juvenile Court. During President George Bush (the elder) time in office he promoted a project to share those that exhibited compassion and volunteered unselfishly to others. I submitted her name and she was selected for her work to be honored! She is now reuniting with her parents, brothers, and most of all with our Lord. She will never be forgotten.
