Marcella Fletcher's Obituary
Marcella Fletcher passed away August 10, 2022, at the age of 95. Mrs. Fletcher was born and raised near Batesville Mississippi and moved to the Memphis area in the late 1940s. She was a member of Collierville First Baptist Church, where she was enrolled in Bobbye Turner’s Sunday School class. She enjoyed traveling and participated in several cross country trips with the senior citizens at First Baptist. She was a loving mother to her five children: James William Fletcher Jr, Charles Wayne Fletcher, Beverly Fletcher Bain, Janice Marie Fletcher, and Barbara Ann Fletcher. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Michael Fletcher, Jenny Craig, Alex Fletcher, Rachel McCoy, Jeffrey Bain, Gregory Bain, several great grandchildren and her beloved sister Bruce Newcomb. She will be reunited in heaven with her husband James Fletcher Sr. and her children Wayne, Janice, and Barbara Ann.
Mrs. Fletcher's visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
