Malcolm Spencer's Obituary
Malcolm B. “Bud” Spencer, 95, passed away April 19, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto after complications of pneumonia. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army in the European Theater. Mr. Spencer was at the Invasion of Normandy and the recipient of three Bronze Stars for meritorious service. Mr. Spencer served 37 years in the U.S. Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. He was past president of Local NALC Union branch 27. Mr. Spencer is survived by Margie T. Spencer his wife of 63 years and William Hunter Stout, his Godson serving in the U.S. Navy and many friends. He was a member of LeBelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 23, 2018 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations in his honor can be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
