Magdalene Tiscia Gay's Obituary
MAGDALENE TISCIA GAY, 90, passed way on May 2, 2015. She was a communicant of St. Ann Catholic Church, Bartlett for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam P. Gay, Jr., her mother, Carolina Tiscia, her father, Leonard Tiscia, her sister, Celeste Andreini, and five brothers. She is survived by one brother, Matthew Tiscia; nine nieces and nephews, Lena Andreini Ekmark, Theresa Southern, Carole Tiscia, Caroline Rose Sherod, Dante Andreini, Joseph Tiscia, Michael Tiscia, Leonard Tiscia, and Tony Tiscia and numerous great nieces and nephews. She loved working with the children at Madonna Learning Center as a volunteer for many years. She had a special relationship with her great and grand nephews and nieces, David Ekmark (Belinda), Steve Ekmark (Naomi), Karen Braswell (Randy), Jacob Ekmark, Rachael Ekmark, and Brandalyn Heckmann (Martin). She was a kind and loving person, devoted to ther family and will be missed by everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Madonna Learning Center or charity of your choice. Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 6 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with the funeral beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
