Mae Stanfill Ewell's Obituary
Mae Stanfill Ewell, 100, went to Heaven on Saturday, December 13, 2014. She was born on October 17, 1914, to Nora Stanfill and Bruce Stanfill. Mae recently had a glorious birthday and celebrated her 100th birthday.She was predeceased by her husbands, Earl Richard McGee and William Charles Ewell as well as her beloved half brother, Frank Stanfill. Mae was employed for 50 years at Uniroyal as a customer service representative and later became executive assistant at Biehl and Company. Mae was a member of Lindenwood Christian Church for 72 years and loved playing the piano for various Sunday School Classes. She is survived by her stepdaughter Marilyn McGee Wiener (Bailey) stepgrandchildren, Don Wiener (Deidra), Bailey Wiener, Jr. (Katie), and Carroll Wiener Bernard (Butler), and six wonderful great grandchildren: Butler and Hampton Bernard, Marilyn and Morgan Wiener, and Katie and Bailey Wiener. Mae was so loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family. The family wants to thank her three wonderful caregivers, Crystal Boyd, Brandy Bledsoe, and Sandra Chambers for their care, love, and devotion to Mae.The family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until the service time at 4:30 p.m. Monday, December 15, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16 at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests for donations be made to the Music Department at Lindenwood Christian Church, the Church Health Center, or a charity of their choice.
