Mabel Lyer's Obituary
Mabel Irene Lyer, 90, of Memphis went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2016 where she joined her husband, Joseph Lyer for their 73 wedding anniversary in Heaven. She was a devout Catholic, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was lovingly known to her family as “Honey”. She was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit, Carnival Memphis Grand Krewe of Spinx, the Ave Maria Guild, St. Joseph Circle, and the Variety Club of Memphis. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Jordan and Patti Cherry Cashion (Charles), granddaughters, Carol Ann Jordan, Jessica Carlisle (Chance), and Elise Cherry, great-granddaughter, Charlotte Carlisle. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14 from 10:30-11:30AM with a graveside service to follow immediately at 11:30AM. All services will be held at Memorial Park.
