Mabel Caldwell's Obituary
Mabel Francis Caldwell of Memphis, Tennessee died on Saturday, June 4, 2016, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at the age of 92. She was the daughter of Elmer and Fannie Francis, and the wife of William Pitts Caldwell. She leaves her four children: Elizabeth Caldwell (Harold Jackson), William Caldwell (Gwendolyn Evans Caldwell), Andrew Caldwell (Leanne Ade Caldwell), and Cathy Caldwell Hoop (Lou Hoop); her grandchildren: Josh, Russell, and Christopher Hoop; Mary Elizabeth, James, Jesse, and Saralyn Caldwell; Nathan, Jason, and Charissa West; and three great-grandchildren: Olivia West, Zachary West, and Emma Grandin. She is also survived by her three nephews: Charles, Richard, and Henry Caldwell. Mimi Caldwell was a graduate of Rhodes College and for many years taught in the preschool program at Buntyn Presbyterian Church in Memphis. She was an elder at Evergreen Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 10:00AM in Memorial Park .
