Lynne Nance's Obituary
Frances Evelyn “Lynne” Nance, 90, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Mrs. Nance was formerly a singer with the Ray Franklin Orchestra and travelled throughout the Midsouth. She also sang for commercials on local radio and TV stations. In 1979 Mrs. Nance performed bookkeeping and tax professional services and enjoyed working until her death. She was a member and sang in the choir at First Baptist Church. She is survived by her youngest brother, Thomas (Melba) Moxley of Memphis; her three sons, David (Rosanne) Nance of Jacksonville, FL; Ron Nance of Memphis; and Kenneth (Dottie) Nance of St. Petersburg Beach, FL., 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 27 from 5-7pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 28 at 1:00 p.m. All services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
