In later years, Lydia would sit for hours, crocheting small doilies which she would hand out to friends or passing strangers as a testimony of how good the Lord was to her. A member of the Baptist church, Lydia loved to play to piano, especially her mother’s favorite song, “What A Friend We Have In Jesus,” and she would always give the Lord the praise for her accomplishments. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m,, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee, on 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014. A memorial service will follow later in the week at Mt.
