Lula Mae Winchester's Obituary
Lula Mae Winchester 92, of Memphis, passed away at Methodist North Hospital on Sunday, July 4, 2010. She was a longtime member of Bartlett United Methodist Church. She also retired from the University of Tennessee. Mrs. Winchester was preceded in death by her husband Cloviece Owen Winchester and her two brothers, Wylie and Donald Clatworthy. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Lou Winchester, Susan Wood, and Nita Bennett-Moses. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lara Maddox Sloan, Kenneth Owen Collins, Michael Gary Maddox, Jr., Sarah Maddox Ringold, Charles Preston Bennett, Amy Lynne Dragotta and Trina Nicole Bennett; and thirteen great-grandchildren. The visitation will be held on 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
