Lula Hall's Obituary
Lula Anita Hall, the second child born to Jinet Isaac Hall and the late Louis Ellis Hall on February 2, 1957, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital, November 13, 2014 after a fierce battle with cancer.She joined church in New Orleans, Louisiana after moving to Memphis, Tennessee, she attended church there. She received her early childhood and high school education at Orleans Parish School System. She became an employee of Popeye’s Chicken in management for years. After moving to Memphis, she worked at K & M Logistic.Lula leaves to cherish her memory a loving mother, Jinet Hall of Hazlehurst, MS; two daughters, April Hall and Cristal Hall of Memphis, TN; two sons, Kim Hall of Memphis, TN and Thaddeus Young (Shekinah) of Arlington, TN; six sisters, Regina Owens (Andrew) of Memphis, TN, Sylvia Hall of Hazlehurst, MS, Linda Green (Melvin) of Jackson, MS, Thelma Yarbrough, Ella Yarbrough, Gwendolyn Yarbrough, all of New Orleans, LA, and sister Englisha Yarbrough (preceding her in death); three brothers, Lou Yarbrough and Alvin Yarbrough Of New Orleans, LA; and one brother Fred Hall (preceding her in death); five grandchildren, Kamron Hall, Madison West, Thaddeus, Jr., Taylor, and Ori Hall (preceding her in death). She is also survived by her extended family, Timothy West, Randy Bailey, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews, as well as several other relatives and friends.A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., with the Funeral service immediately following, at 1:00 p.m. All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
