Luis Fernando Ortiz, "Weezer"'s Obituary
Luis Fernando Ortiz, “Weezer”, 18, of Memphis, Tennessee lost his life due to a tragic car accident on July 7th, 2020 in Oakland, Tennessee. He had hopes of becoming famous so he could take care of everybody but if that didn’t work out he wanted to become a welder. Luis loved fishing and spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered for his fun-loving, fearless attitude, his happy and caring demeanor, contagious laugh, his six-pack abs he seemed to have been born possessing and his mischievous smile that always kept him out of trouble with everyone. Everybody loved being around him, He will be greatly missed by so many people.
He was preceded in death by his “Grandma Mary” Mary Fowler, “Papa” Henry Francis, his aunt, Althea Hill, a cousin, Noe Brayan Zarate, and his friends, Orlando Diaz, Jordan Stephens and Bailey Harden.
He is survived by his parents, Alberto and Brooke Ortiz, two brothers, “Beman” Alberto and “Cardo” Ricardo, his grandparents Richard, Kim, Ricardo and Maria, his great-grandmother Dorothy, numerous aunts and uncles including, Ashley, Bubba, Chabella, Roxanne, Amanda, Jeremy and Ines to name a few, along with many more cousins and other extended family.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 14 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis.
