“Miss” Lucy always sat at the same table in the dining room with my aunt, Jan Gaines. I always visit my aunt at mealtime to have some interaction with other people, too. I always looked forward to seeing “Miss” Lucy. She always greeted me with a smile even when I knew she was not feeling well. She would frequently ask about the weather and what it was like outside. I have recently been bringing my 2 little grandsons to visit. (My daughter has a son 14 mos. old and my son has a son 5 mos. old.) I keep my grandsons on alternate days, so it’s fun to take them for a visit on different days. “Miss” Lucy loved to see those little boys and talked about her family. My heart aches because I know I will not be seeing her again at the dining room table with my aunt. I will miss her sweet smile. But I know she’s smiling down on us from heaven and we can be assured that she is now with our Heavenly Father. I will keep you, her family, in my prayers. Emily Mosby
