Louise Woodward's Obituary
Louise Hudson Woodward died in Memphis, TN on February 25, 2013 at age 102. She was born in Luxora, AR to Dr. Thomas F. Hudson and Louise Lindsey Hudson. She is survived by two daughters, Wade Hunter of Rogers, AR and Shana Chrystie of San Francisco, CA.Louise graduated the University of Oklahoma in 1930, a proud sister of the Chi Omega Sorority. She taught in Burdett, Arkansas’s two-room school in the 1930s. A long time member of Germantown Presbyterian Church, she filled her life with good works. She also loved bridge, laughter, and extensive travel.Louise married Forrest Woodward in 1958. He preceded her in death in 1991 at age 93. Their blended family included her two daughters and his four children. Eventually, the total family count included 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a growing number of great-great-grandchildren. Louise will be laid to rest in Indiana with Forrest in a family service later in the year.
