Louise Joachimi's Obituary
Louise Kelly Joachimi a native of Memphis passed away on August 8, 2010 at Trezevant Retirement Community in Memphis,TN. Louise was born on July 9, 1914 on Cox Street in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll Joachimi in 1976. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Boyd of Suwanee,GA; son Carroll Joachimi, Jr. of Murfreesboro,TN; grandsons, James and David Boyd; granddaughter Amanda Maneval, and five great grandchildren. Louise and Carroll moved to Hot Springs Village,AR in 1973. Louise returned to Memphis in 1999. Louise attended Miss Hutchinson’s School for Girls in Memphis,Stephens College,the University of Texas where she met Carroll, and Memphis State University. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery with a memorial service at noon in St. Edward Chapel in the Trezevant Retirement Community on August 11, 2010. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Girl Scouts of America or the International P.E.O. Sisterhood.
