Born December 2, 1930 in Memphis, TN, passed away March 11, 2021 in Collierville, TN.
She was preceded in Death by her Loving Husband Jack Edward Jenkins, her parents Thomas C. Payne & Clara Baugh Payne. Her Sisters Nora P. Cartwright & Chatline P. Keen. Retired from Shelby County Mayors Action Center (1991). Member of Germantown Church of Christ, Germantown, TN; Eastern Star (Miphaz 62).
She leaves behind 4 Children – Patsy Parker (Jim) of South Carolina, Rickey Smith of Mississippi, Jackie French (Nick) of Wisconsin and Debbie Jenkins of Collierville, TN. 9 Grand Children – Lisa King (Larry), Eddy Parker (Denise), April Hill, Chris French (Jenny), Nicole Maxam (Joel), Laura Scheyer (Drew), Blake French & Jack Hedge; 12 Great Grand Children – Ryan, Jessica & Scott Parker, Kevin Neary, Taylor King, Kris Hill, Clay & Nolan Maxam, Leah, Madyson & Colin French. 1 Great Great Grand Child Vesper Parker, 3 Nephews, 2 Nieces, and a very dear cousin Sue Williams (Logan). Special friends who were life-long “daughters” to her – Pat McKnight, Madeline Webb & Diane McCallum.
In lieu of flowers make donations to Germantown Church of Christ, St Jude Children’s Hospital or Charity of Choice.
A private family service will be held.
