Louise Shelton Burgess' Obituary
Louise Shelton Burgess, 89, passed away October 2, 2014. She was born June 23, 1925 in Middleton, TN. She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Griffin (Stan); son, Barry Burgess (Vickie); grandchildren, Michelle Burbules, Christopher Burgess, Jonathan Griffin, and Alicia Griffin; and great-grandchildren, Lindsey Burgess, Dalton Burgess, Peyton Burgess, and Carter Burbules. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Burgess. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Sunday, October 5 and funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, October 6 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family requests any memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
