What a beautiful lady with so much love in her heart for everyone. She was my 1st grade teacher at Shady Grove Elementary school the 1st year it opened. She loved all of her students unconditionally and was the main reason I decided to get my degree at Lambuth College in Kindergarten and Elementary Education. However during my senior year at WSHS when I worked in the office during Study Hall, a bulletin came across the desk asking for a volunteer to help a teacher in Elementary school. Much to my surprise after applying for the position, I got it-still not knowing what school I was to report to. I finally found out that I would be helping at Shady Grove! When I showed up for my 1st day, I met with Ms. Wolfe, who happened to be the same Principal when I was a student there. After visiting and catching up for a few minutes, she said she would walk me to the playground where the teacher I would be assisting was at the time. Much to my surprise when we walked outside who was there? Mrs. Wade!!! I could not believe the moment I was experiencing-assisting my all time favorite teacher ever! I cannot explain the guidance and love I received from Mrs. Wade. It was more than a dream come true for me. She left a special light on everyone who was lucky enough to have ever known her May you Rest In Peace now-please give mother and daddy a hug for me in heaven. You will be missed here on earth but we all know you are now at peace and pain free, which makes it so much easier for those of us left behind. I can’t wait to meet you again one day. I love you, Debbie Seiffert Harrison
