Lois Tobias' Obituary
Lois McDaniel Tobias, 89, of Memphis, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011. She was a retired Financial Aid Officer from Memphis Area Vo-Tech School. Lois was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of Confederacy, the Scottish Society, and a former Girl Scout Leader. She was a founding member of Buntyn Presbyterian Church, where she was a church historian and taught Sunday school. Lois is preceded in death by her husband Harry Dow Tobias. She is survived by her children, Janet Tobias, Jack Tobias and his wife Freda, Dr. Richard Tobias and his wife Angela, and her daughter Sandi Klink, as well as eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, January 27, 2011, funeral services on Friday, at 2:30pm, all at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be sent to the Memphis Center for Independent Living.
