Lois Oxner's Obituary
Lois Cowgill Keeling Oxner, 94, passed away June 19, 2015 at home. She was preceded in death by Edgar Allen Keeling (d. 1985) and Marvin Richardson Oxner (d. 2006). She is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Garry) Nolan, Millington, TN, her son Richard (Jacque) Keeling, Bedford, TX. She leaves six grandchildren: Richard, Jr., Allison, Brooke, Wesley, Kim and Chris, 8 great-grandchildren and and one sister, Naomi Barnett. Lois was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She lived many years in Olive Branch, MS. She retired from the Memphis Public Library in 1980. She was known for her life long devotion to the church and in recent years attended Raleigh United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday, June 26 from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday, June 27 at 11:30 am. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
