Liza Jane Jones
December 17, 1947 - December 1, 2025
Liza Jane Jones, 77, of Bolivar, Tennessee passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, December 1, 2025. She was the youngest of twelve children. Her parents were Charles Albert Walton, both of Bolivar. After graduation she worked as a bank teller in Memphis.
She married William jones on August 17, 1971. They both loved traveling, visiting several countries, as well as throughout the United States, enjoying all the different kinds of foods.
She is survived by her brothers, Thomas and Fred and a sister, Margaret Vance, all of Bolivar. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Jones; her father, Charles Albert Walton, Sr; her mother, Mable Irene Walton; her brothers, Jimmy, Charles, Frank, Robert, Ted, William, Joseph her sister, Opal Walton Martin.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025 until the funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. at Parrans Chapel Church. Interment will immediately follow in the Church Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119.
