Lisa Taylor Smith's Obituary
Lisa Taylor Smith, age 70, of Memphis, TN, passed away on April 15, 2024. She was born on November 13, 1953 in Houston, TX. Lisa dedicated her life to helping others and had a special love for animals, particularly her many cats over the years. She worked in various careers enriching the lives of others: as a Certified Respiratory Therapist, Certified Montessori Preschool Teacher, Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Clinic management, and working in the field of insurance before medical retirement.
Lisa's achievements in education include graduating Summa Cum Laude from Bellhaven University, where she obtained her Bachelors degree and went on to earn her MBA. Her kindness and loving nature touched the lives of many throughout her career and personal life.
There will be no formal memorial service to honor Lisa's life, as per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The House of Mews, PO Box 751315, Memphis, TN 38175, a cause that was near and dear to her heart.
Lisa will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her compassion and generosity. May she rest in peace.
